Disneyland.

Labels: ,

This weekend, supposedly. But we canceled our plans because of the swine flu alert. No use in giving ourselves the opportunity to get sick. Sure, we could possibly get infected with swine flu at our local supermarket or at a silly restaurant but hey, better safe than sorry. No harm in postponing Disneyland for awhile. Good thing my little girl doesn't quite grasp the concept of time yet. Hahahaha.

Pandemic confirmed.

I'm sure you've heard about this already. I wonder if keeping my little girl in school for the rest of the summer is a good idea. Of course, she doesn't know any better so it would kill her to take her out of school even if she's only attending twice a week.

In any case, keep safe out there -- wash your hands!

A Mexico vacation.

Summer is just around the corner. The wifey and I haven’t come up with any summer plans but I’ve asked her to look into a mexico vacation in the Riviera Maya as one of our options. We’ve never been to that part of the world before and hey, what better place to experience real Mexican food, right? I've heard good things about Karisma Hotels and I’d really love to experience El Dorado Royale Resort. I hear they have veranda hammocks and king-sized Jacuzzis with window-front views. I hear they also feature a winding artificial river that connects to a pool and swim-up bar from your room. I can’t even begin to imagine!

No longer a baby.

My little girl. Taken at her 4th birthday party last March. Those 4 years went by way too fast. Before I know it, she’ll be in college and too busy partying at the bars. Hahahaha. Enjoy your kids while you can. You’ll wake up one morning and wonder where all those years went.

So close.

We were thisclose to getting a new plasma tv this weekend. We said it would be nice to have a new tv system to watch the upcoming Pacquiao fight. Or rather, I said it would be nice -- DW surprisingly agreed. Talk about excitement (cuz God knows I've been wanting a plasma tv for the longest time!).

Gold investment.

This whole recession is just about driving me up the wall. Numerous co-workers have already been laid off from our company. Thankfully, I still have my job and money is still coming in the form of a paycheck. But I wonder, is that enough? I wonder if investing in gold would be a smart move at this point. Afterall, gold has been around since the time of the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. It has had the power to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one’s purchasing power. If you’re interested in investing in gold, contact Monex Deposit Company today and let their 30 years as a leader in gold and precious metals investment change your life.

I got this Altec Lansing M602 iPod speaker for almost 90% off! The original price was $149 and I got it for only $58. I was actually browsing for a couple of speakers on eBay and other speakers stores online for my PC and found this on Altec Lansing's website by chance. I purchased it right away and a few days later I found out that the price went back again to its original price. I have it currently installed in our garage so I can blast music when I'm working out.

The sound is so amazing that I can turn up the volume in a 2 car garage without sacrificing the quality. I don't even have to get off my spinner bike to change a song or adjust the volume because it comes with a wireless remote to control my iPod. The M602 can also play other MP3 players. I use it to play my CD player when I would want to listen to my CDs.

I'm really happy about my purchase on this one! Cool beans!
