My Favorite Travel Destination - Boracay
If I have to choose my favorite travel destination, it would be Boracay, a small island on the southern part of the Philippines. Be it for honeymoon, group vacations or just to get aways from your busy world, man Boracay is one of the places to be! My family and I were there for four days last August and everyone just had a great time. No words can easily describe how we enjoyed each day we spent there.
To detail our experience, first we stayed in Two Seasons resort one of the a nicest hotels in the area. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are very clean and their customer service is excellent. And the beach is just in front of our hotel.
Need I say More?
We would have our lunch in are area half a mile away from Two Seasons called D' Talipapa, a small wet market where you buy your foods raw and just bring it to some adjacent restaurants there and have them cook it for you. Second, the foods. How does Garlic Crab, Drunken Shrimp, Grilled Tuna Jaw, Grilled Jumbo Squid, Grilled Green Mussels with Cheese sound to you? Isn't it mouth-watering? And we got a lot more than that for a group of 7 adults and 3 tods. The beach itself is clean. Funny that my daughter has mistakenly called the sand "sugar" when some got into her shoes. Our hotel has cabanas if you want eat your meals there, have a massage, or just chill in the bar with relaxing music. And they also have lounge chairs if you want to get some tan. If were not on the beach, were at the pool. My daughter and her cousins prefer the pool since they can jump on the water and swim with their life vests on!
Four days is not enough. After coming back to the Sates, we were already missing Boracay and just can't wait 'til we go back there.
The weather was perfect that time, considering it was typhoon season. Peak season starts around January to May.
